Everett G. Diederiks, Jr. received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1984 from Manhattan College where he was inducted into the Mechanical Engineering Honor Society. After serving as a Patent Examiner in the United States Patent and Trademark Office for over four years, Mr. Diederiks became a registered patent agent and law clerk at a Washington, D.C. area firm where he remained as an associate after obtaining his Juris Doctorate from George Mason University and becoming licensed to practice law in Virginia in 1992. He established a law firm bearing his name in 1996 which developed into the firm of Diederiks & Whitelaw, PLC.
